As a member of the Transaction Services practice, you will help clients navigate through complicated transactions and events, from evaluation through integration, in a multifaceted business environment. PwC helps clients negotiate with confidence. Some of the world's most prestigious companies rely on our buy-and-sell side due diligence capabilities and turn to us for advice on financial reporting, valuation and tax issues. We also provide advice and project management for capital raising events such as initial public offerings, secondary listings and private placements. For companies in distressed situations, we advise on crisis avoidance, financial and operational restructuring and bankruptcy. Clients rely on PwC to help them make informed and empowered decisions to invest, divest, raise capital or reorganize. As our clients execute on their chosen strategy, our focus turns to helping them extract value. The professionals in the Transaction Services Valuation practice work on a wide range of services including business enterprise valuations and intangible and tangible asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, financial reporting and tax purposes. Our experts also perform private equity valuations and valuations of financial instruments. We offer valuation services for privately held and public companies, both domestic and international, across a variety of industry sectors.
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analysis, or related major Certification(s) Preferred: CFA or ASA Knowledge Preferred: Thorough knowledge regarding the application of valuation methodology for business entities and intangible assets, including valuation discounts and premiums. Skills Preferred: Thorough experience in a professional services firm, or corporate finance group performing valuation engagements. Strong aptitude for applying financial accounting, corporate finance, business analysis, and report writing to create and deliver valuation solutions to the client. Demonstrates thorough experience providing professional services in one or more of the following areas: business enterprise valuation, financial modeling, derivatives, intellectual property valuation, impairment testing, purchase price allocation, private equity valuation.
