Job Description

Our Core Assurance practice provides independent reporting to stakeholders. We perform:

  • Financial statement and internal control audits

  • Business and performance reporting

  • Social, environmental, and other compliance reviews

Audit360 Group is a centralized team within PwC dedicated to the firms' audit transformation agenda.

The Audit360 team builds software designed for audit practitioners that provides a consistent process and automated testing methodology to increase audit quality and improve engagement efficiencies.

The Audit360 team is transforming our audit procedures through innovative solutions using modern technologies, business workflows, and data analytics to increase the transparency of data across disparate data sources. The Audit360 team operates under a continuous improvement (agile) mindset that focuses on delivering business value to our clients and engagement teams.

IT and Project Assurance Team data analysts provide primarily the following services:

-Conduct and manage a broad range of quantitative and qualitative research data to assist in the formulation and articulation of industry, market, and issue-based analysis to drive the practices growth agenda

-Analyze research data to identify market trends in both developed and developing market.

-Understand and track regulatory changes that impact the business.

-Develop stakeholders' quantitative models, including statistical and economic impact analyses, to contribute to enterprise-wide strategy issues

-Assist in conducting market assessments and identify white space for emerging services.

-Articulate complex financial information and large amounts of data to senior audiences through the effective use of data visualization techniques.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2 years of success in roles working on enterprise applications

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates some proven knowledge of, and/or success in roles, building software solutions designed for audit practitioners to enhance overall quality and engagement efficiencies within a global professional services consulting partnership, which includes the following areas: Gathering and understanding business requirements and designs; Communicating clearly when writing and speaking to product teams and business stakeholders; Collaborating and working effectively with a geographically dispersed team; Being responsive to client requests and coordinating resolution activities across multiple team members; and, Performing within the application lifecycle management process, utilizing effective time management and prioritizing tasks to meet project milestones. Prior success in roles in either Finance or Professional Services firms, as well some proven knowledge of accounting and finance concepts, are preferred.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates some proven abilities and success with building software solutions designed for audit practitioners within a global professional services consulting partnership, which includes the following areas: Building solutions within Microsoft SQL Server Development-T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS; SQL Server 2008 R2 and above; SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other related DML operations; and, Performing data validation, relational data modelling, data mining, and master data, including utilizing DBA features within SQL server, database tuning and optimization techniques, and the use of visualization products and technologies-i.e. Monarch Modeler, Datapump/Automater, OLAP Solutions, Visual Studio 2010 and above, and Team Foundation Serve
