Tax Transformation technology team members act as the direct liaison with senior IT professionals within PwC and our clients by providing specialized assistance to troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding the technical
application aspects of our tax technology solutions.
The team is utilizes propriety web applications and is
responsible for managing technology support.
Minimum Years of Experience: 3
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
Certification(s) Preferred: MCPD, MCTS, and/or MCSD
Thorough knowledge of any of the following programming tools:
MS SQL Server 2005 or 2008, .NET framework, ASP.NET, Visual Basic.NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Database Design, HTML, XML, Visual Studio.NET, MS Teamsystem.
Proven thorough knowledge with a variety of data structures and algorithms related to the application development lifecycle.
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced programming concepts and object-oriented design patterns related to the application development lifecycle, including the analysis of business requirements, evaluation of design patterns, and system enhancements coding.
Demonstrates some knowledge of, and/or proven success working in, on-call environments.
Demonstrated ability to prepare and present concise, accurate business requirements, documents and reports with attention to business writing and grammar.
Proven ability to interact effectively in a team environment, yet also function well with independent responsibilities.
Proven through ability and/or direct experience with coaching and working with associates who assist with this work, providing coaching, feedback and guidance on work performance.
Proven ability to conduct thorough and detailed research pertinent to client, industry-related, and technical matters related to the application development lifecycle.
Demonstrated client service orientation, the proven ability to build client relationships, surface and identify problems and develop creative solutions.
