Job Description

PwC New Ventures will identify, develop and commercialize technology-enabled products that deliver PwC value, knowledge and experience to our clients. Each new venture will focus on a data-driven platform or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new ventures, we will foster a culture of innovation within the Firm.

The New Ventures Tech Operations team is focused on new builds and capabilities and, as such, leverages industry-standard and innovative technologies.

Most of these products will be cloud-native and are targeted at generating license revenue over services and engagements.

The RPA Engineer will work in a collaborative manner with various project/product, architecture, and Infrastructure teams to automate business processes using RPA tools.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Degree Preferred: MBA or Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success challenging our clients' operational status quo by designing and implementing novel automation solutions in the following areas:

  • Robotic process automation (RPA), natural language processing, Optical Character Recognition(OCR) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions;

  • Automation technologies and product and systems operations;

  • Re-engineering manual processes across systems and technologies, especially for the service of customers or end users;

  • Implementation of Robotic and Intelligent Process Automation tools in the Financial Services industry, such as Automation Anywhere, IPsoft Ameial, Blueprism, UIPath, and Workfusion is preferred; demonstrates thorough abilities in utilizing similar automation solutions or analytical tools. This can include VBA, Java, analytical tools (SQL, Qlickview, Tableau, SAS) or other programming languages; and,

  • Process optimization and a strong understanding of industry leading practices for implementing automation solutions, as well as, effective governance and risk management.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Creating a positive environment by monitoring workloads of the team while meeting client expectations and respecting the work-life quality of team members, providing candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner; and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues;

  • Analyzing detailed user experience, process, and business functions to identify improvement opportunities, including experience with broader business process re-engineering efforts (Lean, workflow design, etc.); and,

  • Identifying and addressing client and end user needs by actively participating in product, client discussions and meetings, communicating a broad range of Firm services; managing RPA efforts as part of

product implementations including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.
