Job Description

PwC established New Ventures to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market.

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The New Ventures Tech Operations team is focused on new builds and capabilities and, as such, leverages industry-standard and innovative technologies.

Most of these products will be cloud-native and are targeted at generating license revenue over services and engagements.

PwC New Ventures IT is the team responsible for the success of our central technology efforts in our federated business model.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5 years of progressive IT managerial roles involving Software as a service implementation.

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in IT infrastructures, especially as it relates to support functions for a global network of professional services consulting firms, emphasizing an the following areas:

  • Applying ways to support and integrate key business and strategic priorities within an IT federated business model;

  • Understanding technology needs in various IT technical areas, especially IT Service Management industry-leading practices (ITIL), Operations Control Quality, and Process Improvement systems; and,

  • Understanding in-depth implementation technology solutions based on business and client requirements.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success managing IT infrastructures involving Software as a Service implementations within a global network of professional services firms, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Managing lifecycle of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the functions of configuration management, problem management, change management, and operational readiness;

  • Working extensively in a highly complex technical environment;

  • Managing all aspects of IT service establishment, including both infrastructure and application development and deployments; and,

  • Initiating and engaging in ongoing significant dialogues with internal clients on support and workflow technologies.
