PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements.
Finance has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, assisting with the integration (including system needs) and educating partners/managers on how to navigate our various financial systems.
The Domestic and International Accounting Operations team oversees the functions and processes related to financial operations of the US Firm and it's Foreign subsidiaries.
Minimum Years of Experience: 2
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Certification(s) Preferred: CPA
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of financial reporting systems in order to prepare and deliver effective reporting of data to finance, functional, and Firm leaders to enable effective decision making.
Proven ability to:
Supervise a team of accounting, research and analysis coordinators
Enable adherence to policies/procedures and drive awareness/understanding of policies/procedures.
Assist in resolving issues, accurately answers customer inquires and proactively report potential issues that may impact financial results.
Provide analytical and technical assistance to all staff.
Prepare and distribute standard and/or ad hoc financial reports; develop changes/additions to existing reporting packages.
Manage the documentation of processes, system and process enhancements, process flows and operating procedures for service area.
Support management in maintaining Firm Accounting Policies
SAP and prior public accounting experience.
