Job Description

Partner Affairs is comprised of Partner Admissions, Firm Governance, Partner Compensation, Partner Talent Management, Partner Development, Administration, HRIS/IT/Web and National Benefits.

The Partner Administration Center of US Partner Affairs administers distributions to active and retired partners, manages the U.S. partnership Human Capital processes, security and reporting, the partner income system, the partner international program, allocates partnership income, controls partner equity and investment accounts, manages capital and other funding, develops and administers partner retirement plans and provides other financial services to the partnership.

The Human Capital Data Management and Reporting & Security Team is responsible for:

securing and maintaining all partner related demographic and personal data within the HRIS system; execution of on-boarding admissions and direct admits; administering all changes to partner demographic and personal data;

execution of all firm wide mass demographic changes both yearly and monthly; manage flow of data from UPAS system to all downstream systems and vendors; managing requests for partner data; creation of customized queries to provide data to clients; analyze current and future reporting needs and recommend improvement for enhanced delivery data; managing user access requests for system security.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 6

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

 - Understanding of the technical aspects of the PeopleSoft/UPAS system, interaction between Human Capital, Payroll, all bolt-on modules and downstream systems;

  • Directing and supporting of the maintenance and improvement of current business system solutions, addressing issues, and providing recommendations for current issues and future growth; working with the functional owners in each area to address concerns and recommend efficiencies;

  • Managing projects, system testing and system upgrades; serving as a liaison between the business and IT; understanding and interpreting needs of the business; and, providing guidance for the business’ vision and helping communicate this with IT;

  • Making key decisions on priorities and design decisions, establishing that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle; and,

  • Utilizing and applying the firm’s standard suite of work solutions (e.g. Notes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and technical tools ( e.g. GFS, Kcurve).

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Leading multiple project work streams, serving as coordinator between various stakeholders in the business and members of IT at all levels, and influencing and guiding a successful outcome of the projects;

  • Utilizing and applying systems solutions, preferably within PwC, and PeopleSoft;Â

  • Identifying opportunities to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies;Â

  • Negotiating with stakeholders to determine highest business value requirements and prioritization;

  • Assisting in technical issues between departments utilizing appropriate communication to resolve;Â and,

  • Applying independent judgement resolving issues, accurately and concisely answer inquiries.
