Job Description

PWC IT is responsible for the success of our central technology efforts in our federated business model.

The CSO

  • Development team is directly responsible for all development activity including the provision of resources to Global IT Programmes.

This includes the management of staff, management of service contracts from 3rd Party development shops and the adherence to standards.

Position/Program Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of development methodologies such as Object Oriented, Rational Unified Process, Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, ERP, Maintenance, COTS implementation, Model-driven Architecture, etc. Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and clear communication ability. Demonstrated proficient experience with internationalized applications written using .Net, C#, SQL Server and database tools.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Extensive knowledge of technical domains of application development such as SAP, PeopleSoft, J2EE, .Net, C++, Documentum, Web sphere, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL, database tools, reporting tools, and other application tools/languages. Intimate knowledge in particular technical domain area(s) and contributes to the development of technical standards and practices.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrated ability to: Analyze/translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Resolve technical issues and research industry best practices for the monitoring, support, maintenance, and implementation of applications. Adhere to SDLC used for workstream development. Document technical aspects of application development in work products used in SDLC . Develop and maintain quality standards of SDLC deliverables for development. Support applications during implementations. Extensive experience with System Development Life Cycle methodologies used with the technical domain. Experience supporting accounting applications.
