Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in:

  • Understanding demand planning and forecast development and impact of forecast accuracy on inventory levels, manufacturing costs, transportation costs, warehousing costs and service levels;

  • Managing planning parameters using a segmentation-based approach and optimizing inventory levels;

  • Conducting supply planning in industrial manufacturing supply chain using advanced supply chain planning solutions such as SAP IBP, and understanding BOM, MRP, and impact of supply and demand on inventory levels;

  • Demonstrating ability to present complex supply optimization analytics in simple supply chain cost and performance terms;

  • Understanding capabilities of Blue Yonder planning tools such as Luminate Control Tower or other Supply Chain Control Tower solutions;

  • Designing and implementing Blue Yonder or other Supply Chain Control Tower technologies to drive measurable results in industry or consulting environments;

  • Understanding key trends in industrial manufacturing supply chain to build a Connected Supply Chain, including supplier integration, inbound material visibility, IoT etc.;

  • Managing supply chain risks and proactively improving supply chain resilience;

  • Demonstrating problem-solving skills in addition to critical thinking and the ability to manage details in context of the overall supply chain performance;

  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis of large and complex data set using tools such as Excel and Alteryx and visualizing data using tools such as Tableau and PowerBI;

  • Understanding Agile approach, UI/UX design, and product management principles;

  • Work autonomously to deliver results with little direction; and,

  • Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to various audiences.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

  • Understanding the components of a demand planning process including: maintenance of demand data, statistical forecast, internal input process, execution;

  • Optimizing of supply plans consistent with overall corporate objectives;

  • Understanding key performance indicators, roles and responsibilities and tools that support Sales and Operations Planning processes (S&OP);

  • Assessing current supply planning processes and systems, and identify opportunities to improve fulfillment of the demand plans while achieving inventory objectives;

  • Developing and implementing supply chain network planning, capacity planning, and material planning processes and systems;

  • Understanding and executing inventory management policies to support service level and inventory targets; and,

  • Leading project workstreams, building collaborative relationships with team members.
