Any Workday Services or WD Pro / customer functional certification with Workday Financials. Additional certifications or training, e.g. Reporting, Engagement manager certification, CPA, are beneficial.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in a role utilizing the Workday environment for at least one year, be it on the consulting / implementation services or client-side.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success providing analysis and advice to organizations around improving their efficiency and effectiveness in transaction processing, close and consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and internal and external reporting.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs by leading:

  • Process improvement in, industry knowledge, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas including shared service and outsourcing, finance transformation, performance management, or financial systems optimization;

  • Managerial cost accounting, financial modelling and industry systems/processes;

  • Financial ERP systems support or implementations, including SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle, JDE, Workday, NetSuite;

  • Transactional processes eg intercompany, P2P, Order to Cash etc.; and,

  • Maintenance and building of cost-effective controls.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success simplifying complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Participating actively in client discussions and meetings;

  • Managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and;

  • Balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success learning and performing in functional and technical capacities, including the following areas:

  • System application implementations and software configurations;

  • Utilization of PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) and business levels of fluency in multiple languages to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently, emphasizing the ability to capture effectively clients' needs and understand their systems enough to be able to translate those needs in to system functionality; and,

  • Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively collaborate across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

  • Understanding personal and team roles;

  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members;
