A career in our Specialised Tax Services practice, within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.
Our team helps our clients achieve year to year consistency that leaves them in full compliance and with optimal cash savings. You’ll help our clients identify qualifying cash tax savings and refund opportunities as well as gauging the impact of deductions and credits on the effective tax rate.

Demonstrating intimate knowledge and understanding of the following areas: - Performing on project teams and providing deliverables involving multiphase data analysis related to the evaluation of accounting and/or financial issues; - Utilizing accounting ledger and sub-ledger applications to interpret requests and reconcile data; - Evaluating accounting, business process, operational, and, or, financial issues; - Demonstrating familiarity with database concepts including building relationships between tables, grouping data, and following steps to create cohesive analyses; - Utilizing data management and analysis technologies inclusive of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, ACL, ASCII, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Microsoft .NET framework, HTML or XML; and, - Utilizing programming Languages and Tools- SQL, R, Power Query, Python, Java, SAS, BI, Power Query, Tableau, Alteryx, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Win Automation, UI Path. Demonstrates Intimate knowledge and/or a proven track record of success with operating in a professional services firm or large enterprise as a consultant, auditor or business process specialist. Demonstrates Intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success with identifying and obtaining new service opportunities and taking the opportunities through the sales cycle, including the following areas:
Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and billing and collection;
Identifying and addressing client needs, including developing and sustaining Intimate client relationships;
Assisting with the leading of teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation;
Utilizing software design patterns and principles to build testable, reliable and robust enterprise scale web applications;
Demonstrating experience with Layered system architecture;
Utilizing ASP.Net MVC Web Applications using C# programming language;
Demonstrating experience with JQuery or Knockout;
Leveraging Test Drive Development and writing unit tests using frameworks like MS Test or nUnit;
Utilizing SharePoint development;
Designing and developing SQL Server databases, stored procedures and views; and,
Using HTML and/ or CSS.
Demonstrates Intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Working in virtual environments to complete projects with team members based in various locations, domestically and globally;
Identifying and addressing client needs by actively participating in client discussions and meetings;
Communicating a broad range of Firm services;

Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services and doing so with a "One Firm" service mindset. Preferred familiarity with a CRM system.

Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization and leads by example in a professional services environment including, but not limited to, the following areas: - innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions.- working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.- utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements. Advance pricing strategy through the use of pricing tools and influence a shift to alternative fee arrangements.
