Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in product and solution focusing on Corp and Commercial cards,, commercial payments, transaction banking, or payment hub solutions.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in payment processing and financial services, and success contributing to or managing specific work streams that involve the following areas:

  • Understanding of Global Transaction Banking and Cash Management products;

  • Working Functional knowledge of money movement capabilities for High Value, Low Value and Instant Payments;

  • Working knowledge of global clearing and market infrastructures (Fed, CHIPS, CHAPS, TARGET2, SWIFT ETC);

  • Working knowledge of Correspondent banking structure and NOS/VOS accounts;

  • Working knowledge of transaction life cycles of payment products and solutions (e.g., wires, ACH, check, money transfer, and card solutions);

  • Working knowledge in financial operations, including settlement operations, reconciliation, and exception processing;

  • Working knowledge of operations and administration of Financial Services businesses;

  • Working knowledge of data and payment systems interactions including IT tools and technology; and,

  • Working knowledge of documentation and the identification of key controls within payment transaction lifecycles.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in working collaboratively and independently to address client needs by:

  • Participating in client discussions and meetings actively;

  • Communicating a broad range of offered consulting services;

  • Managing workstream(s) or small team engagements;

  • Preparing concise, accurate documents, including utilizing PC applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients; and,

  • Maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success leading large teams through the design and implementation of changes to Operations, including people, process and technology including the following areas:

  • Leading the delivery of significant business results that utilizes strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, individual initiative;

  • Leading project work streams, emphasizing the ability to build collaborative relationships with team members and clients;

  • Coaching others including building productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively providing and seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;

  • Communicating complex information effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences;

  • Conducting and managing market research and quantitative and qualitative analyses, including the synthesis of complex data into meaningful insights and the ability to grasp readily analytical frameworks and employ them effectively to either qualitative or quantitative evidence;

  • Leading and delivering projects including bringing together the right perspectives, identifying roadblocks, and integrating feedback from clients and team members;

  • Managing delivery from project scoping to conclusion, while consistently keeping the client’s goals in mind;

  • Developing and growing team members;

  • Communicating complex information effectively;

  • Approaching new projects with an open mind;

  • Demonstrating empathy for coworkers and customers;

  • Learning from mistakes and ask for help when needed; and,

  • Believing in the value created by diverse teams and can adapt to a variety of working styles.
