The UX designer’s job is to zero in on users’ underlying emotional and functional needs — then help execute on those discoveries to create a clear and delightful experience. Additional Responsibilities :

  • Run discovery workshops; Participate in end-to-end product research.

  • Plan and execute usability testing; Demonstrate fluency of various research tools.

  • Execute user and stakeholder interviews; Present research findings and communicate recommendations.

  • Understand the different phases of the product lifecycle and advise appropriate strategies for understanding user needs at all points in the process.

Additional Educational Requirements :

Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating, in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

  • Design Sprint; Understand the digital product life cycle.

  • Plan, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative user research.

  • Employ both qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover business and user needs.

  • Ability to effectively derive and communicate user insights to stakeholders through storytelling.

  • Work closely with a team of UX / UI Designers, Product Managers, and business teams to materialize, test, learn and deploy user research and insights.

  • Analyze user behavior through user testing, interviews and surveys; Conduct market and customer research to define product development and strategy.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Manage communications with users and stakeholders.

  • Structure ambiguous problems and define tasks to bring clarity.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
