Our sales organization is focused on identifying and winning specific new business opportunities to generate profitable revenue growth. The PwC brand is leveraged and further strengthened throughout the mix of sales activities, which include: Identifying and facilitating client relationships with priority accounts; Matching specific client needs to Firm services; Facilitating and contributing to proposal opportunities and client presentations; and, Developing and overseeing the use of best practice-based sales methodologies and tools.
The Client Strategy (CS) Network focuses on leveraging the U.S. firm's Pursuit framework (i.e., sales methodology) and tools to drive profitable revenue growth and relationship development for priority accounts and sectors, consistent with the goals and objectives of the Marketing and Sales organization. Client Strategists drive ongoing account management activities for their assigned accounts, which includes developing a growth strategy for the account, managing relationship development plans, driving team operating disciplines, and developing a high-performing team. In addition, Client Strategists drive teams through pursuits and the proposal process, including developing pursuit strategy and value proposition, drafting client-focused proposals and deliverables, and coaching teams as appropriate.
The Virtual Client Strategy team supports leaves of absence in the CS Network (typically 4-6 months in duration). Virtual Client Strategists are assigned by region but may at times be asked to support another region. While on assignment, Virtual Client Strategists fulfill the duties of other Client Strategists who are on leave and transition responsibilities back upon their return.
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED
Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Leading ongoing account management activities for target companies aimed at developing business and supporting strategic sales activities including leading high-performing priority account teams, developing and applying revenue growth strategies for target accounts, managing account plans, managing and communicating sales pipeline and revenue to goals, understanding buying roles and managing relationship development plans, and driving account planning calls and workshops;
Understanding business, sector, and company-level issues facing organizations and applying those findings to the sales strategy for an account;
Coaching and managing account teams through competitive proposal processes including developing proposal strategies and relevant value propositions, analyzing and evaluating competitive landscapes, identifying critical decision makers/stakeholders, writing proposals, and project managing pursuit efforts;
Preparing account teams for general client and sales-focused interactions including preparing for meetings and presentations, creating meeting materials, and coaching teams prior to meetings; and,
Understanding how marketing and sales functions/tactics work together to drive sales strategy on accounts.

Using technical tools actively and effectively such as MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Google suite including Docs, Slides and Sheets.
