A career in Office of General Counsel, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to be a part of the Firm’s legal department by providing dedicated legal support in the areas of litigation, counselling, and corporate, commercial, and employment law. You’ll play an important part in all aspects of regulatory proceedings involving the Firm and its personnel by supporting on regulatory issues, advising the Firm on matters relating to its operations, supporting the Firm’s client contracting function, and advising on matters related to employees.
As part of our team, you’ll help with researching background information related to legal issues and prepare legal documents. You’ll focus on drafting contracts or legal agreements, retaining files of prepared legal documents, and coordinating requests between internal and external counsel.

The head of Procurement Legal manages a team of lawyers that supports PwC’s procurement activities. The team is responsible for establishing and managing commercial agreement templates; drafting/negotiating commercial agreements; and advising stakeholders on key commercial and legal risks. In addition to supporting these day-to-day activities, the leader of Procurement Legal focuses on enhancing and streamlining the tools, templates, and processes leveraged by the team.

Displaying legal background and extensive knowledge of contract law, intellectual property law, a general understanding and knowledge of legal principles, liabilities and risks associated with the acquisition of products, services and technology;
Demonstrating thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing in procurement processes and systems and acting as a legal consultant to procurement, preferably for a global network of professional services firms;
Providing advice during difficult negotiations, reviewing contract language and coordinating the services of outside legal counsel when necessary as it pertains to supporting a Procurement organization;
Managing a team;
Partnering with business stakeholders in the procurement process;
Writing clear, unambiguous contract terms and coordinating complex written and verbal materials for a diverse audience; and,
Communicating clearly and succinctly with all levels of staff across the legal community and within the firm.
