Our Quality Risk Management team is a consultative team that includes client service facing risk management professionals and those who focus on risk management for internal teams. Our risk management professionals perform consultations and provide approvals (as required by risk management policies) related to client and engagement acceptance, support teams during the engagement delivery process, focus on troublesome practice matters and work to manage risk associated with firm and public communications.

The One Firm Risk Organization (OFRO) Risk Assessment Facilitation Team (RAFT) provides opportunities to gain exposure via a role focused in the risk management and quality aspects of the Firm’s business. OFRO works as an enabler to support Firm, Platforms, and Practice Team Leadership, and collaborates with Global and other Territory Risk Management teams, Office of the General Counsel, Independence, Ethics & Compliance and other client service and infrastructure teams.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:

  • Having a deep understanding of risk management, quality and independence policies and guidance, and applying these policies and guidance to new strategies, services and related initiatives;

  • Being a subject matter expert for risk management and quality initiatives;

  • Possessing thought leader-level abilities and knowledge of the client service solutions for which risk management support and guidance will be provided to client service partners/teams;

  • Utilizing risk management policy knowledge and experience, assuming leadership roles, while working on firm level and solution level initiatives;

  • Providing leadership and support to the firm’s Cloud and/or MS platform and practice teams;

  • Advising client service teams in risk management matters such as engagement-related consultations, contract reviews, new product/service-related initiatives, and other risk management matters as they arise;

  • Developing requirements and collaborating with other firm enablers to implement various risk-management and/or other related business process systems as an enabler and/or through simplification initiatives;

  • Preparing and presenting on risk management and quality matters to client service teams and other enablers;

  • Being comfortable challenging others and being challenged;

  • Communicating clearly and concisely in verbal and written communication including the utilization of Google Suite to draft and review documents, analyze data, and prepare related presentations;

  • Possessing thought leader level of knowledge in utilizing creative problem-solving abilities and a consistent consultant mindset, and a proven ability to research problems and/or issues and develop effective solutions for initiatives related to risk management, quality and independence policies and guidance, and the application of these policies and guidance to new strategies and/or other initiatives and with consideration of changing business needs;

  • Possessing thought leader level of knowledge and experience with identifying and addressing client needs;

  • Building relationships with client teams and all levels of leadership;

  • Collaborating within and external to one's own team;

  • Influencing outcomes;

  • Developing an awareness of Firm services;
