The Robotics Process Automation (RPA) IT team is accountable for managing the IT processes across the aligned IT organization. The Process team works closely with process sponsors and owners in the aligned IT organization who are responsible for their specific process areas. The Process team establishes IT tools and supports the end-to-end IT Value Chain.
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8 with extensive level knowledge of standard IT processes and how these apply to the UK and US IT organizations for IT operations, service desk and projects including software development, and extensive business and operational management knowledge are required.
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:
Leveraging various standard IT Process models and their drivers and benefits; and,
Understanding how the various IT Process models drivers and benefits can be leveraged in a global delivery and sourcing model to benefit the IT organization.
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing the following areas:
Developing the definition and implementation of standard IT Processes across all functions of an IT organization to efficiently take advantage of a true global delivery model using a sourcing approach with staff and vendors in multiple geographic locations;
Influencing the standardization of IT processes and working with IT functional leaders to build and establish a set of published IT processes that provide a measurable level of consistency that meets the requirements of the IT organizations;
Driving the definition of a standard IT process model that will be used by the IT organizations;
Being accountable for involving the leadership of each functional team in the development of standard IT processes;
Working with IT functional leaders to set common process change initiatives, metrics and success factors;
Leading an IT Process team to develop and execute IT's strategy for standardizing processes;
Delivering quality, standard IT processes to the IT organizations by appropriately leveraging process subject matter specialists from all territories involved and onshore and offshore vendors to provide the highest quality standard IT processes;
Leveraging skills in relationship management, stakeholder management, change management, and influencing without authority;
Counseling, coaching, and mentoring staff;
Working effectively within tight deadlines and firm schedules; and,
Developing and strengthening relationships outside of the functional team while focusing on understanding the needs of those who depend on the team's services and those who deliver services on which the team depends.
