Minimum of 7+ years of relevant industry or functional post-graduate work experience in a consulting environment (i.e. strategy, boutique, Big 4 consulting firm, Systems Integrator, or in an internal consulting capacity) showing progressive advancement and a record of achievement

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge or success working within a consulting environment (i.e. strategy, boutique, Big 4 consulting firm, Systems Integrator, or in an internal consulting capacity).

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge or success in the following areas:

  • Due diligence - researching and providing executive level summaries of competitive markets, customers, and trends;

  • Program value realization - helping clients plan, structure, and execute large scale system transformations;

  • IT strategy and effectiveness - assisting clients with IT mergers and acquisitions, technology evaluations, enterprise operating model design and governance, and demand management;

  • ERP / Sourcing strategy - helping clients with technology ecosystem market analysis, business case development, vendor due diligence, and software and SI selection and contracting;

  • Program/Project standup and management (overall PMO);

  • Business requirements analysis - requirements elicitation, use case development, and requirements traceability maintenance;

  • Business case development - cost/benefit model and scenario analysis;

  • Infrastructure architecture - understanding of cloud, both private and public, and mobility;

  • System / data architecture and design

  • Solution architecture – developing specific pro/cons, application, capabilities and cost for vendor solutions

  • Infrastructure architecture – cloud, both private and public, and mobility

  • IC Development - developing and enhancing Firm methodologies and Intellectual Capital

  • Negotiation and conflict resolution – ability to facilitate resolution of client conflict as well as conflicts with third-party software and services providers

  • Understanding of industry standard enterprise software platform (e.g. Microsoft, SAP, Oracle), its industry vertical solutions, and its ecosystem partners; and,

  • Building solid and collaborative relationships with team members and fostering a productive team work environment;

  • Delivering core work products in multiple project workstreams and working in complex team environments;

  • Collecting and utilizing relevant business and industry trend information and analyzing this information by applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques;

  • Planning and delivering discrete sections of work against tight deadlines;

  • Gathering data and ramp-up including interviewing, surveying, and secondary market research;

  • Executing quantitative and qualitative analyses; and,

  • Writing, communicating, facilitating, and presenting cogently to and/or for all levels of audiences, clients and internal staff and management.
