A career in our Innovation Development practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.
Our team helps our clients create a guided path to innovation by developing the right methods that generate insight based ideas, and to select, produce and commercialise the most valuable and viable results. You’ll focus on software driven innovation strategy, software technology diligence, operating model design, software product planning and management, and software architecture and cloud strategy.
As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Senior Managers and above
Be involved in the financial management of clients
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
Train, coach, and supervise staff
Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
As UX/UI Manager you will be part of an energetic, creative, fast-paced and growing team of designers whose goal is to design digital solutions for complex tax applications and users. You will use design and research methods to define the user experience requirements, shape the long term design vision of a product and work closely with stakeholders to deliver the day-to-day experience in a timely manner.

Demonstrating a good understanding of the life cycle of web development, including analysis, design, construction, implementation and support;
Working with business and application development team(s) within an agile environment to derive design strategy for projects;
Embracing an open and collaborative team-centered spirit;
Balancing the UX process with the need for rapid application development;
Breaking down complex and ambiguous problems and delivering suitable simple solutions; and,
Creating consistent, high quality user interface mockups/walkthroughs for review with workstream stakeholders.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:
Defining the right information architecture and vision that lead to a simple experience;
Demonstrating a passion for evangelizing user experience design through compelling narratives and storytelling;
Demonstrating thorough communication abilities, both verbal, visual and written;
Working independently and take initiatives in a fast-paced environment;
Leveraging high-level organizational skills needed to manage both individual and team schedules, deliverables and overall capacity;
Demonstrating specialization in visual design for digital applications;
Paying attention to detail of visual designs, including composition, layout information architecture, grid layouts and responsive/progressive design; and,
Promoting the correct application of design/interaction templates and style guides.
