You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC’s system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you’ll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

Certification(s) Preferred :

  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification;

  • Azure Fundamentals and/or AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification; and,

  • PM Methodologies - Kanban and Work Visualization Basics.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in development and utilization of technology, in the following areas:

  • Displaying an enterprise level cloud transformational leader with experience in the adoption and application of cloud models globally and across numerous business units primarily within IaaS and PaaS. Leverages DevOps and DevSecOps principles producing agile and dynamic operations;

  • Demonstrating Enterprise level products and technology experience servicing large internal customers and numerous internal business units; and implementing DevOps and DevSecOps principles and tools providing agility, automation, and security;

  • Demonstrating experience with global cloud compute operations;

  • Demonstrating leadership experience of third party cloud and infrastructure providers across multiple technology platforms;

  • Demonstrating expertise in governing the cloud strategy and providing subject matter expertise on cloud architecture and compute infrastructure;

  • Owning, driving, and supporting annual compliance activities with knowledge of ISO-27001, SOC-2, HiTrust, etc.;

  • Demonstrating hands-on industry experience within one or more of the following cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform specifically driving transformation and adoption programs;

  • Applying Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD);

  • Leading project management principles;

  • Leading cross-functional work teams toward task completion;

  • Leading adoption of a DevOps culture for customer workloads, including improvements to our hiring practices, onboarding, mentorship and career development practices;

  • Building highly collaborative teams with bottom-up ownership;

  • Informing executive leadership of enterprise-wide exposure to release risk and effectively mitigate it;

  • Facilitating, negotiating, and working with internal customers;

  • Identifying and eliminating redundancies at the portfolio level, capable of recognizing patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire product development lifecycle;

  • Utilizing strategic Cloud/SaaS perspective, including market understanding and using Cloud as a competitive advantage;

  • Working experience in operations, including automation, monitoring, alerting, and incident management;

  • Measuring release cadence and effectiveness using common SLO metrics across the entire hosting portfolio;

  • Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules;

  • Creating common standards and formats for release playbooks and work with production control to standardize release decision-making;

  • Defining common mechanisms for rollback and standards for capturing release-related performance indicators;

  • Forecasting demand for release resources and identify opportunities for greater efficiency across the enterprise; and,

  • Preparing, communicating, and presenting complex written and verbal materials for audiences of all levels.
