Our team covers a variety of responsibilities that are executed by DevSecOps, Site Reliability and ML Ops Engineers, including: -Defining standard release automation patterns for infrastructure and application components -Defining standard CI/CD pipeline patterns that include a common set of DevOps and SecOps tools -Developing reports and metrics to validate existing and new pipelines use standard DevSecOps tools -Proactive optimization of redundancies, monitoring and alerting practices and patterns -Developing resilient and highly available cloud patterns -Controlling and executing the promotion of code through all environments -Infrastructure as Code development for buildout cloud infrastructure -Building and Releasing pipeline development -Secrets and configuration management -Monitoring systems and services, providing incident and emergency response to triage and resolve system or client issues -Management of the application ecosystem improving platform infrastructure and applications with high reliability, resiliency, performance and quality -Supporting documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks -Designing, building and Implementing devops patterns that adhere to PwC’s security guidelines and policies.

PwC Digital Tech Leads are responsible for establishing the technical vision with Solution Architects and managing developers (both onshore/offshore) to turn the vision into reality with an on-time and quality implementation. Tech Leads are expected to have full stack development experience utilizing agile development techniques/methodologies, and are responsible for working with multiple disciplines within the software development lifecycle (UI/UX, Product, Management, QA Testing & DevOps).

  • Communicating unified technical vision for software products and breaking down vision into tangible tasks for developers;

  • Demonstrating technical expertise across full technology stack;

  • Managing performance of offshore and onshore developers through effective task breakdown, management, prioritization, and alignment of work;

  • Scaling team productivity by decomposing user stories and features into individual units of work;

  • Contributing directly with written code and providing code reviews to ensure adherence to solution design;

  • Participating in the cost estimation process by recommending the skills and numbers of developers required, and performing effort estimation given product requirements;

  • Coordinating with product-related teams to build, test, and deploy software products;

  • Identifying technical risks and proactively addressing issues that may impact service levels or schedules;

  • Understanding and applying agile software development techniques/methodologies;

  • Providing recommendations on technical solutions including design, build/buy decisions, open-source tooling; and,

  • Collaborating with Product Management and other Tech Leads to define the design, development, and support toolsets and processes, to improve the overall efficacy of product teams.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in modern software engineering approaches, technologies, and tools with the following:

  • Cloud-ready architectures utilizing infrastructure and platform cloud services for Azure, AWS, or GCP;

  • Microservices architectures;

  • Big Data / Analytics / AI tools;

  • DevOps - virtualization, automation, continuous integration;

  • Mobile/Web architecture stacks;

  • Polyglot Persistence - RDBMS/NoSQL (SQLServer, Postgres, MongoDB, Couchbase) data stores and appropriate use cases;

  • Core: Java, .NET, Python, NodeJS;

  • Languages: HTML/CSS, Javascript/NodeJS;

  • Frameworks/Libraries: Angular, React, D3;

  • Databases: noSQL (mongo, neo4j, firebase), relational (mySQL, postgres);

  • Configuration Management: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform;

  • Messaging: Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, GraphQL; and,

  • Containers: Docker, Kubernetes.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success by:

  • Communicating with business and technical stakeholders to achieve product engineering objectives;

  • Leading across all aspects of a technology solution - integration, data, services, front-end, back-end, network, deployment, scaling, security, performance, development, etc.;

  • Managing rapid-prototyping efforts with new and emerging technologies;

  • Designing successful technical/integration architectures for large-scale platforms with a mix of 3rd party vendor, open-source, custom software;

  • Contributing and managing incubators/innovation lab environments; and,

  • Leveraging project management skills like planning, tracking, issue and risk management, team organization, and activity prioritization.
