This role will be required to deliver knowledge training sessions, publish white papers on his/her core skills, mentor team members, understand SAP's global business trends, new product releases and acquire knowledge in new dimension tools by self learning or attending internal/external trainings.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding client requirements, provide solutions, functional specifications and implement technical components accordingly;

  • Demonstrating ability to create Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Unit Test documents for the technical solutions being implemented;

  • Providing communication, analytical and Interpersonal skills as a Consultant and play key role in implementations from Design/Blueprint to Go-Live; and,

  • Showcasing team spirit, leadership skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Managing and executing full project lifecycles, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing , user support activities, exposure to ASAP and other structured implementation and methodologies and maintain cordial relationship with onsite team/client;

  • Showing proficiency in building planning models using BW Integrated planning using agg. Lvls, planning sequences and planning functions;

  • Working experience with SAP on BW 7.31 or higher;

  • Writing FOX and custom planning functions which are HANA enabled (PAK);

  • Planning query building using BeX Query Designer;

  • Possessing proven experience with BW-ABAP, including writing custom extractors, transformations using start, end & expert routines, enhancement BADI’s and exits and understanding and debugging SAP standard ABAP code;

  • Having working knowledge of BW data modeling ( ADSO, Open ODS views, etc);

  • Possessing an extensive understanding of SAP HANA Programming including SQL and SQL Scripts;

  • Modelling SAP HANA using Attribute view, Analytical view and Calculation view;

  • Using mixed scenarios with SAP BW on HANA like Transient provider, Virtual provider based on HANA model, Composite provider;

  • Reporting development (BeX, Design Studio and/or Analysis for Office);

  • Demonstrating knowledge with BW ETL from various source systems ( ECC, CRM, APO, BODS, Flat Files ) using LO cockpit, custom extractors, ODP extractors, etc.;

  • Analyzing BW Security authorizations and/or structural authorization;

  • Handling integration between multiple systems for reporting - SAP ECC, SAP CRM, SAP BW, BOBJ integration;

  • Working knowledge with BW master data and data marts based on standard ECC modules such as SD, MM, FICO and COPA;

  • Demonstrating knowledge with SAP HANA Data provisioning using SAP LT Replication server;

  • Working knowledge with Trade Promotion Management;

  • Building universes using Information design tool by creating connections to various systems like SAP BI, SAP HANA, and SAP ECC etc.;

  • Reporting using new dimension reporting tools like SAP Analytics cloud, Webi, Dashboards 4.1, Analysis office, BO Explorer; and,

  • Utilizing knowledge in the below SAP areas such as SAP FI/CO, SAP SD and SAP CRM.
