A career within Private Company services, will provide the opportunity to help private companies with a range of business advisory needs such as audit, tax compliance, and planning to help improve their operational efficiency and to free up time that can be spent focusing on business strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to experience the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity and transition.

Our team helps our clients design and implement personal and customised service plans that are unique to privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals. You’ll be assisting the team focus on key issues like wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture and exit strategies.

Client service fellowship positions are entry-level roles and job seekers typically need an additional 30 educational credits to complete the necessary 150 credit requirement to become a CPA.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Business issues experienced by non public, privately held organizations;

  • Use of data and automations to create insights that improve the PCS market practice and in support of engagement team activities; and,

  • All aspects of the assurance or tax profession and a desire to pursue a career in public accounting and taxation.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success with:

  • Using knowledge of financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and financial reporting systems including generally accepted accounting principles, current accounting policies and procedures, and having general knowledge of federal and state tax laws in business situations;

  • Applying business analytics to uncover errors, inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement in a variety of situations;

  • Researching and analyzing technical literature, such as tax laws, rules regulations, accounting principles and policies pertinent in client, industry and technical matters;

  • Using problem solving skills on business problems with creativity and an innovative mindset;

  • Prioritizing tasks and projects, managing multiple tasks with agility;

  • Interacting with various levels of client and firm management through both written and verbal communications;
