Emerging Tech Lab Developers create rapid proofs of concept to test hypotheses about how emerging technologies can be applied to business use cases. We learn and explore at the forefront of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Internet of Things, Robotics, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality. The lab’s role is to generate prototypes, demos and learnings that PwC teams and clients can use when deciding how to apply and invest in emerging technologies.
Demonstrating the following preferred technical qualifications:
Working experience in data management, deploying and managing ML models on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP;
Deploying machine learning models in the cloud for real time and batch inference use cases;
Designing, developing and deploying models based on modern deep learning architecture;
Building scalable machine learning systems;
Understanding of containers and container orchestration systems(Kubernetes / Docker);
Demonstrating the ability to continuously learn new technologies and quickly evaluate their technical and commercial viability;
Understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit Learn and algorithms such as random forests, ensemble methods, deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks etc.);
Building machine learning models and systems, interpreting their output, and communicating the results;
Creating end-to-end technology prototypes and/or machine learning models for a given business use case or application;
Balancing multiple projects simultaneously and a working ability to meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities;
Managing projects with autonomy and leading small teams (1-5 team members);
Owning responsibility for deadlines and ensuring that projects are completed on-time; and,
Demonstrating proven presentation skills.
