The Health/Pharma Life Sciences Risk and Reg writer/editor will originate articles on the significance and implications of policy and regulatory developments in Health Services (payer and provider) and/or Pharma Life Science on a regular basis.

Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge of risk and regulatory issues and industry trends in Health Services (Payer and Provider) and/or Pharma & Life Sciences, with the ability to:

  • Participate in public speaking engagements;

  • Provide a portfolio of business and industry publications;

  • Conduct primary and secondary research;

  • Manage a content series on web or app, including: Digital content strategy and Digital content programming

  • Manage a content dev and calendar; and,

  • Understand engagement and consumption analytics;

Demonstrates intimate knowledge of and ability to:

  • Originate articles on the significance and implications of policy and regulatory developments in Health Services (payer and provider) and/or Pharma on a regular basis;

  • Keep up with developments in risk and regulatory matters, using digitally-enabled ways to track regulations affecting health services and pharma;

  • Develop points of view on quick turnaround (sometimes within 24 hours);

  • Write articles that are concise, compelling, distinctive, and actionable;

  • Conduct independent research for interesting proof points that executives will find compelling and valuable;

  • Build relationships with subject matter experts internally and externally on the various regulatory content tracks to create streams of timely, compelling content;

  • Work with marketers and designers to translate insights into digital formats (graphics, video highlights) as well as webcast flow; and,

  • Work with marketers and designers on the website, including presentation and display of the portfolio of content on the site

Demonstrates intimate - level of ability to work with drafts prepared by practitioners and subject matter experts, to include:

  • Edit drafts received from the practice to get them ready for publication in the Cyber, Risk and Reg (CR&R) Forum; and,

  • Provide editorial consultation and recommendations for content not slated for publication in the CR&R Forum to bring drafts to PwC standards.

Demonstrates intimate - level of ability to operate within an ecosystem of creators, marketers, and experts, to include:

  • Coordinate with the Health Services and Pharma practice in Trust and CR&R providing distinct points of view aligned to our services and value-added discussions with management teams, boards and audit committees align with our Consulting and Trust strategic priorities;

  • Coordinate on content calendars with the Integrated Content (IC) editorial director for CR&R and with the Health Services and Pharma & Life Sciences sector editors in IC;

  • Coordinate with CR&R, Health Services, and Pharma & Life Sciences marketing leaders on alignment with campaign activation (for the promotion and nurture of subscribers);

  • Coordinate with the One Firm Risk Office for content review prior to launching content; and,

  • Coordinate with PwC Intelligence sector analysts (with focus on sector trends for internal education and limited focus on regulatory).
