A career in our Financial Services Enabling Technologies practice, within Industry and Functional Apps services, will provide you with the opportunity to build secure and new digital experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers. We focus on improving apps or developing new apps for traditional and mobile devices as well as conducting usability testing to find ways to improve our clients’ user experience.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member with an understanding of product and solution focusing on payment cards, merchant services, commercial payments, transaction banking, or payment hub solutions.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member with an understanding of payment processing and financial services, and success contributing to or managing specific workstreams that involve the following areas:

  • Understanding Transaction life cycles of payment products and solutions (e.g., wires, ACH, check, money transfer, and card solutions);

  • Understanding Financial operations, including settlement operations, reconciliation, and exception processing;

  • Understanding operations and administration of Financial Services businesses;

  • Interacting with Data and payment systems including IT tools and technology;

  • Working with Shell Scripting in awk, nawk, ksh and bash;

  • Reading, writing and executing complex SQL queries;

  • Reading, writing and executing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers & Cursors;

  • Reading, writing and executing batch jobs using scheduling tools such as Autosys, Control M;

  • Performing Data Lineage and Data Mapping;

  • Defining Queue Managers, Remote Queues, Local Queues and Channels;

  • Writing Python scripts using pandas and numpy;

  • Developing data visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI;

  • Reading and writing XML and XSDs;

  • Documenting and identifying of key controls within payment transaction lifecycles;

  • Developing Test Plans and write test cases for Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, support during User Acceptance Testing; execute and test cases and produce test reports.

  • Participating in client discussions and meetings actively;

  • Understanding Disaster Recovery and knowledge of Active – Active (hot – hot) architecture and Active – Passive (Hot – Cold) Architecture;

  • Understanding of crypto currency and ripple networks; and,

  • Demonstrating experience with microservices and API management.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member with blockchain based payment processors.
