Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success conducting data and analytics projects including:
Proficient coding and development of predictive modeling, machine learning and AI applications using for R, Python and AWS or Azure native ML tools;
Working knowledge of linear and nonlinear regression, random forests, GBM, survival analysis, clustering, neural network models;
Having the ability to design and develop user friendly, interactive data and model result visualizations in R or R/Shiny, Python visualization packages, Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI or other similar tools;
Preparing, conforming and analyzing large and complex datasets with preference for experience with clinical trial clinical, operational and quality data, omics data, RWE data (e.g., claims, EMRs); and,
Understanding proficient derivation, summarization (in presentations or reports) and presentation of insights from analyses and models to non-analytics consumers; and,
Having the ability to guide the work of and review code, analysis and visualizations created by more junior team members and provide actionable improvement recommendations.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, preferably obtained through one or more of the following:
Academic coursework or academic scientific research;
Direct work in the industry defined as one or more of the following: Pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, biotechnology, generic drugs, medical device, instrumentation, diagnostic companies); Contract service organizations to the industry (e.g. CRO); Regulatory health authorities / agencies overseeing the industry (e.g. FDA); Non-profit organizations supporting life sciences scientific advancement; Government agencies supporting life sciences scientific advancement (e.g. NSF, CDC) Analyst / research / benchmarking companies covering the industry (e.g. CMR/KMR); and/or,
Consulting companies that deliver services/solutions to the industry as defined above.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader and member on project engagements and project teams, including the following areas:
Understanding personal and team roles and contributing to a positive work environment by building relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback and providing guidance and feedback to more junior team members;

Researching and analyzing pertinent client, industry, and technical matters; utilizing problem-solving skills; and, communicating effectively in written and verbal formats to various audiences (including various levels of management and external clients) in a professional business environment.
