You’ll work with our clients to develop a supply chain strategy, optimise their supply chain footprint and logistics, manage transportation and distribution, and develop an integrated business planning solutions.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates proven expertise of, and success in roles directing and leading teams involving the supply chain within the Healthcare Industry in one or more of the following roles (or similar roles): Director, Executive Director, and/or Vice President of clinical resource management, distribution and inventory, procure to pay, or contracting and sourcing.

Demonstrates proven expertise of, and success in roles leading budget development, financial management and staff.

Demonstrates proven extensive of and success in roles producing white papers or publishing in journals on the topic of supply chain management.

The following additional professional certifications and organizational memberships are preferred:

  • Certified Material and Resource Professional, CMRP,

  • National organizations: Healthcare Financial Management Association, HFMA, Association for Healthcare Resources and Material Management, AHRMM, American College of Healthcare Executives, ACHE.

Demonstrates proven thought-leader abilities and success in roles driving the supply chain process in ten or more of the following skill sets, as well as a specialty in pharmacy supply chain or preoperative supply chain:

  • Process review, redesign and implementation,

  • Productivity and efficiency,

  • Clinical resource management and/or value analysis,

  • Distribution or distributor assessment,

  • Distributor recommendation and optimization,

  • In-sourcing and/or outsourcing assessment,

  • Purchase services review and assessment,

  • Contracting non-labor cost reduction,

  • Inventory and par management,

  • Account payable invoice discrepancy management,

  • Supply chain IT,

  • Technology assessment and optimization,

  • GPO assessment, selection and optimization,

  • Capital asset management, and,

  • Analysis and communication.

Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with the following additional areas:

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities;

  • Preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection; and,

  • Performing as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation
