A career in Conduct & Compliance within Financial Services Advisory - Risk & Regulatory gives you opportunities to advise financial institutions on ways to enhance their regulatory compliance control infrastructure in a manner that drives compliance with regulations and promotes consumer protection. You will advise clients on PwC and industry compliance tools and practices to strengthen their compliance risk management programs. You will work with experienced professionals to help clients with process improvements, regulatory examinations, and regulatory remediation activities.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success with performing on, compliance-related consulting engagements, including the following areas:
Understanding and applying banking laws and regulations, including consumer compliance requirements (e.g., FCRA, TILA, HMDA, Fair Lending, UDAAP, etc.), regulatory requirements, and related industry-leading practices relating to compliance risk management programs and processes;
Understanding issues involving operational processes related to consumer financial products and services, i.e., credit cards, mortgages, and deposits;
Assessing, developing and implementing sustainable compliance risk management structures and processes, including sustainable compliance risk management structures and processes-regulatory inventory, risk assessment, monitoring and testing, training, corrective action and reporting and supporting compliance technologies;
Developing and executing regulatory compliance-related Internal Audits or second-line-of-defense monitoring and testing programs;
Demonstrating agility to respond to dynamic demands, both internal and external;
Participating in proposal development efforts; and,
Communicating with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or proven record of success with advising clients on compliance issues, assessing compliance risks and controls, implementing compliance supervisory and control solutions, which includes the following areas:
Developing compliance risk management programs, including risk monitoring and reporting, risk assessment and prioritization, and facilitation of the definition of an organization's risk appetite and risk tolerance in alignment with their organization's strategy;
Leveraging analytical ability and the ability to research, interpret, and evaluate laws, regulations, rules, standards and industry practices;
Actively participating in client discussions and meetings;
Leveraging project management and project facilitation skills, especially with leading and facilitating teams and developing client proposals;
Identifying and addressing client needs;
Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials; and,
Providing constructive coaching and real-time feedback to team members.
