Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in client relationship skills and is comfortable leading discussions with client management regarding strategy design and assessment, operational process assessment and reengineering, development of analytical models and strategies, implementation of technology solutions that drive efficiency and remove friction from the borrower experience, enhancement of control environments to comply with evolving regulatory requirements, and enhancing processes and systems to improve performance monitoring and management.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:
Understanding Collections and Recovery strategy including operating model design, channel strategy, risk segmentation strategies, collections treatment strategies, management reporting and dashboards, dialer strategies, loss mitigation strategies;
Understanding operational structure and workflow across Collections and Recovery including early and late stage collections, legal processes (e.g., bankruptcy, cease & desist, probate), foreclosure, REO, repossession, liquidation, remarketing, debt sale, etc.;
Understanding data analytics and modeling within collections and recovery, including predictive modeling, scoring and segmentation;
Understanding technology platforms and digital solutions for collections (e.g., dialer, text, chat, mobile apps, self-cure solutions, online portals);
Understanding regulatory requirements and legal requirements impacting Collections and Recovery (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA, OCC 2013-29, bankruptcy, TCPA, SCRA, UDAAP, etc.);
Understanding risk management including risk identification and assessment, internal controls, process review, and effectiveness; and,
Understanding performance monitoring and reporting, including key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs).
