PwC Deals Transformation Operations Senior Manager in New York, New York

This role supports the Operations function within mergers & acquisitions (M&A), along with large-scale, cross-functional business process, integration, separation, and transformation changes. The role scope covers the complete deal cycle, from due diligence to negotiations, Day One planning, operations integration and separation, synergy analysis, stranded cost optimization and transition service agreement (TSA) development and governance.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in operational Integrations and Divestitures, including pre-deal operational due diligence, integration and separation planning and execution, synergy and cost savings analysis and TSA development with extensive knowledge of and experience in some or all of the following Operational areas: Planning & Forecasting, Inventory Management, Sourcing & Procurement (direct and indirect), Manufacturing, Warehousing, Transportation, Logistics Planning & Management, Warranty, Returns, Research & Development, Customer Service, Customer Operations and Back Office Operations for the Consumer Products & Services, Industrial Products & Services, Health Industries, or Financial Services Industries.

Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing and developing strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work across multiple client projects, including the following:

  • Building proven and collaborative relationships with team members while fostering a productive teamwork environment;

  • Seeking diverse views to encourage innovation and high performance;

  • Demonstrating ability to coach, develop and grow team members, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;

  • Managing and delivering significant business results that reflect strategic and creative thinking and individual initiative;

  • Developing a business vision and leading complex projects while functioning as a trusted advisor at the highest levels of client organizations;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs: build, maintain, and utilize networks of client relationships;

  • Effectively managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets and status updates;

  • Planning for and facilitating working sessions of medium to large sized groups;

  • Directing and conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data;

  • Communicating complex material effectively in written and oral formats to various audiences;

  • Supporting new business development and project extensions, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities; and,

  • Supporting business development and pursuit activities both internally with client pursuit teams and externally with client facing meetings and proposal discussions.
