PwC Financial Risk & Regulatory - Treasury - Manager (Financial Services) in New York, New York

A career in our Balance Sheet Management practice, within Financial Risk and Regulatory services, will provide you with the opportunity to help business leaders embed a proactive and dynamic risk management capability and mind set into their corporate business practices. From strategy through to implementation, we help put in place people, processes and technology so they can leverage financial risk management to identify new opportunities and pursue success as smoothly, systematically and sustainably as possible in the face of changing markets, technologies and competition.

Our team provides our clients with gap assessments as well as design and implement processes to facilitate asset and liability management, funding and liquidity planning and stress testing, and capital management. You’ll help build tools that enable our clients to efficiently utilise capital and liquidity resources, consistent with regulatory expectations.

Degree Preferred:

Master Degree

Preferred Fields of Study:

Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering

Certification(s) Preferred:

Certified Financial Advisor (CFA), and/or Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge of advising and developing integrated solutions for treasury and

finance functions at financial institutions or multinational corporations, including the following:

  • Capital markets instruments including fixed income, equity, foreign currency, interest rate,

commodity, credit and mortgage instruments;

  • Critical banking and capital market regulations including Basel II and KYC, asset liability

management, liquidity risk management, funding, collateral management and cash and capital

management;

  • Front, middle and back office functions and activities;

  • Treasury management strategy, processes and technology solutions;

  • Global cash and liquidity management, financial management, corporate finance and financial risk

management.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities with security and derivative instrument valuation, especially

relating to asset liability management, liquidity risk management, funding, collateral management

and cash and capital management.

Demonstrates proven extensive technical skills in global cash and liquidity management, financial

risk management, working capital management and corporate finance.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities with identifying and addressing client needs: building,

maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;

communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets,

billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials

leveraging extensive technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Lotus

Notes.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere

of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff

including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Demonstrates proven extensive abilities in accounting and financial reporting, as well as sustained

proficiency in treasury technology analysis and implementation.
