Job Description

PwC established New Ventures to invest in new business models that leverage our knowledge and build solutions for the growing digital market.

New Ventures identifies, develops, and commercializes technology-enabled solutions that deliver PwC value, knowledge, and experience to our clients. Each new solution focuses on data-driven platforms or other IP-based solutions that leverage emerging technologies and new business models. Through the process of building new solutions, we foster a culture of innovation within the Firm, extend brand relevance in the market, and generate new revenue.

The New Ventures Business Operations team supports individual products/product managers and is a catalyst for the product development lifecycle. The team interfaces with the product teams and enablers throughout the contact to cash to cash process, including interacting with sales, technical and support operations to ensure a lack of duplication and that all product needs are enabled.

The Product Compliance and Licensing team ensures ongoing compliance with firm guidelines, external regulatory requirements, best practices, efficiency and standardization and allowing product teams to focus on sales growth, product delivery, customer needs and quality.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Having direct involvement in project management, including resolving problems and developing communications and/or documentation;

  • Understanding application development processes/methodologies including information technology concepts such as database, security, and testing; and,

  • Understanding risk management policies, emphasizing both the importance of risk management and quality to the firm.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in quality and risk management, including the following areas:

  • Approaching initiatives in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, and demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;

  • Utilizing creative problem-solving abilities to research problems and/or issues and develop effective solutions;

  • Building relationships with staff and all levels of leadership, collaborating with team and external stakeholders to influence outcomes;

  • Developing an awareness of internal firm regulatory and compliance groups;

  • Producing quality deliverables independently toward the completion of projects, keeping supervisors apprised of progress;

  • Providing assistance to New Ventures product teams as they go through the PwC compliance process, including documentation to support compliance;

  • Providing assistance to teams in setting up and maintaining products in the Licensing Database; and,

  • Assisting with approval and signing of internal and external contractual agreements.
