Our Risk and Quality team identifies and assists internal teams to mitigate and control client engagement risks. As part of the team, you’ll provide advice to business teams within PwC on sound contract provisions, standards and approaches in accordance with PwC policies, principles and standards.

The Senior Associate for the Joint Business Relationship (JBR) Management Group will enable our team to promote high quality client service relationships and engagement delivery and to monitor compliance with policies, procedures and tools that minimize exposure to business, regulatory, legal and ethical risks.

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas:

  • Managing and overseeing US & MX Joint Business Relationships (JBR), from initiation to activation;

  • Maintaining compliance with the SEC and AICPA rules in order to ensure that controls established to monitor compliance are working properly;

  • Monitoring active US & MX JBRs to identify expiring contracts and performs follow up procedures to avoid a legal break in services;

  • Assisting teams with the amendment of expired or evergreen JBR agreements;

  • Planning, executing and managing the semi-annual JBR Independence confirmations to adhere to independence and E&C rules and regulations;

  • Providing monthly monitoring of the A&C reports where a the JBR and performing follow up procedures as necessary with engagement teams;

  • Generating monthly reports for various stakeholders (for required compliance reporting to OFRO – JBR Team Leadership);

  • Facilitating OFRO – JBR Team communication (calls/emails) with internal stakeholders (OFRO – JBR Team, Independence Office, Contracting Center of Excellence (CCOE), Alliance Team, MX point of contact, and MX OGC) to ensure sponsor teams have all necessary information to guide them through the JBR process;

  • Working with the Talent Exchange (TE) & Corp to Corp (C2C) teams to submit TE & C2C records in Salesforce; and,

  • Reviewing and scheduling Request IT calls.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Possessing the ability to develop relationships and team with all levels of leadership and staff, both at the client service level and OFRO team members;

  • Coordinating consultations with sponsor teams, internal stakeholders and other enabler groups as needed;

  • Displaying project management, problem resolution, presentation and communications skills;

  • Assisting in developing and maintaining risk management policy, guidance and tools in support of business risk management requirements;

  • Preparing and presenting communications/presentations on initiatives as requested;

  • Demonstrating the ability to escalate issues to OFRO Managers, Directors and Partners, as appropriate; and,

  • Demonstrates an understanding of OFRO Risk and Quality policies and guidance.
