A career in Administration and Secretarial Services, within Internal Firm Services, will give you with the opportunity to provide administrative support to PwC employees. You’ll focus on using business software applications to prepare reports, receiving and directing incoming calls or emails to the appropriate parties, arranging business travel, tracking expenses, and coordinating meeting arrangements.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success within a professional services environment, including the following areas:

  • Applying business acumen and specialized technical knowledge, including a comprehensive understanding customer support needs and technology used by the team;

  • Coordinating information regarding Passport/Visa issuance and renewal and Visa-Watch;

  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Phone/Voicemail/e-mail/Instant messaging and scheduling; and,

  • Showing proven technical knowledge within and application of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Lotus Notes.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success within a professional services environment, including the following areas:

  • Demonstrating proven experience planning and executing meetings and events, providing phone/voicemail coverage, creating and scheduling calendar entries, written communications (proposals, presentations, and memos), submitting time and expense reports, overseeing mail and package distribution, conducting database support, and making travel arrangements.;

  • Supporting executive level leadership members and committees;

  • Demonstrating proven communication abilities, persuasive communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives;

  • Creating detailed itineraries for travel arrangements, meeting times, meal arrangements and car service requirements;

  • Supervising administrative employees, delegating incoming work and prioritizing projects;

  • Showing the ability to create, draft, and proofread proposals/presentations and maintain an easily accessible file system;

  • Demonstrating the ability to type 60 w.p.m.;

  • Building solid relationships across all levels of management, with senior level executives, staff members, external vendors, and clients;

  • Participating proactively in knowledge sharing activities, continuously develops and communicates best practices within formal and informal networks;

  • Providing back-up support to other Executive Assistants; and,

  • Demonstrating ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and leverage a complex, matrix organizational structure.
