Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

Industry sector and function:

  • Understanding of biologics, vaccines, small molecule, cell/gene therapy, combination products, etc.; and,

  • Understanding of CMC, Technical Operations, Tech services, Analytical Development.

Function, processes and execution understanding:

  • Understanding of product development pathway and processes (e.g. phase progression, process scale-up/pilot scale, analytical methods, technology transfer, strategic sourcing, clinical operations, etc.);

  • Understanding of health authority regulations (e.g. GxP);

  • Participating on research and/or product development teams and work plan development and execution;

  • Processing scale-up/pilot plant operations, program management, technology transfer, strategic sourcing, clinical operations, etc.); and,

  • Understanding Product Lifecycle management and line extensions.

Technology understanding, application and optimization:

  • Understanding of IoT connectivity, big data analytics platforms (e.g. MS Azure), Alteryx, PowerBI;

  • Understanding standard technologies and business systems like MES, ERP, or MRP and “next gen” technologies like digital twins and “smart” factories.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success contributing to the development of business vision and strategies, managing complex organization transformation through people, process and technology changes, and possessing consultative and project management experiences in the following areas:

  • Building proven and collaborative relationships with team members;

  • Leveraging diverse views to encourage innovation and helping develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback;

  • Delivering significant business results that reflect strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiatives;

  • Identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships;

  • Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and status updates;

  • Communicating effectively in written and oral formats to various situations and audiences;

  • Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data; and,

  • Utilizing and applying into projects knowledge of applications and systems that support the following processes: product lifecycle management, ideation management, project planning and requirements gathering and Agile project management.
