PwC Sales Director: Forensics (New York Metro) in New York, New York
A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.
Our Business Development team supports PwC and its clients by developing sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities. As part of the team, you’ll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilisation of all account management methodology and business development tools.

Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge and/or proven record of success in professional services selling and the ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with clients to drive revenue, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in building and exploiting the legal channel based on specific market needs, including the following areas:
Understanding and articulating the business benefits of the Forensic Services technologies, solutions and product offerings, and capabilities across various industries, emphasizing the development and maintenance of deep and expansive relationships within the law firm organizations across identified markets;
Understanding, using and facilitating a sales methodology to further the business development cycle;
Driving business development and lead generation through both external and internal channels, emphasizing channel pipeline focus and marketing campaigns within Forensics; and,
Demonstrating proven success as an individual contributor in a business development role, working with accounts in industry-specific areas, for a professional services organization.
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success in an individual contributor sales role, directing sales and business development efforts and activities within the Forensics practice, PwC’s priority accounts and the Law Firm channels, including the following areas:
Identifying client issues and priorities and providing products and services solutions that are complementary between a professional services firm and Law Firms and converting to wins;
Building and sustaining long term relationships with vendors, attorneys and clients to drive pipeline and incremental revenue;
Driving priority campaigns and directing sales efforts across various competencies and team selling through:
Building and refining target account lists and mapping;
Creating a sales motion schedule, economic buyer targeting and scorecard;
Initiating sales call and contacts on a systematic basis;
Pursuing prospects to explore, effectively qualify and scope sales opportunities;
Maintaining an active role in discussing and developing solutions with client teams and clients;
Overcoming objections and obstacles to win business;
Closing business and exceeding expectations on delivery of solutions through ongoing relationship building with the client effectively;
Understanding of the structure, key issues, language, and environment of the Forensics specialty practice area with an ability to discuss and explain current and emerging issues within the industry, including products and services applicable to those needs and effectively engage with executive level clients and with Forensics-focused PwC resources;
Selling software-based technology solutions, and specifically Forensics services technologies, is highly desired; and,
Working effectively in a deadline-driven and matrixed professional services business environment, and overseeing and executing complex work streams that support business development with the Law Firm channel.
