As part of the team, you’ll focus on supply chain strategy and complexity, supply chain footprint and logistics optimisation management, inventory and working capital optimisation, and supply chain risk management.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or success in operations roles within professional services or corporate, addressing a company’s supply chain challenges to help them transform and build world-class supply chain capabilities, emphasizing the following areas: – Identifying, clarifying and resolving complex issues critical to a company’s strategic and operating success; – Understanding supply chain standards, frameworks e.g. SCOR*, leading practices and market and industry drivers; and, – Leveraging industry and market leading trends in order to develop insights and provide recommendations.
Demonstrates a high level of leadership, strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative on large-scale strategic business transformation projects with a supply chain focus and the following abilities: – Leading teams to generate a vision and creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views and encouraging improvement and innovation; – Managing a team to a successful project conclusion through the problem-solving of complex operations issues; – Managing the planning, organizing and delivery of operations tasks and projects, overseeing independent analyses and establishing the quality of client deliverables; – Leading the development and improvement of various frameworks and methodologies within operations; – Utilizing tools/systems for supply chain optimization and IT-enablement e.g. TMS, WMS, inventory management, planning systems, etc. from vendors such as SAP, JDA/Manugistics, Oracle, etc.; – Building productive and collaborative relationships with team members and proactively providing and seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; – Identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships; and, – Communicating effectively in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats.
