A career in our Tax Reporting and Strategy practice, within Innovation services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients’ tax departments redesign, redefine, and redeploy tax to be a strategic asset across the enterprise. You’ll focus on assisting clients incorporate increased automation in the tax reporting process, increase analytic capabilities through data integration, and create solid internal controls that will enable the Tax function to deliver better quality output and contribute more strategically to organisational decision making.

You’ll focus on enhancing the tax reporting process by incorporating increased automation, integrating quality data, developing analytic capabilities, and utilising technology to deliver better quality output in less time.

In Data Automation we solve complex problem statements for our clients relating to data, analytics and processes across all industries. Our dynamic team is passionate about bringing innovative , tech-enabled approaches to solve acute needs for clients, and working with them on their overall strategic digitization agenda and roadmap. We are looking for individuals who have experience working with data wrangling/transformation tools or programming languages and data visualization technologies.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in automation & digitization and can lead by example in a professional services environment with an innovative and continuous improvement mindset and by the following:
Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements;
Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;
Innovating through new and existing technologies, willingness to researching and experimenting with new digitization solutions;
Building and managing models using tools within the following categories:
Using Data analytics/automation tools: Alteryx, Microsoft Power Query, Microsoft Power Apps;
Analyzing data & Visualization – Tableau, Power BI;
Tackling current state assessment of business problems, blueprinting a future state technology-enabled solution, capturing impact and value;
Staying up to date on technology trends, emerging tools and best practices in the use of analytics and automation for governance, risk and compliance;
Demonstrating proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effect change through collaboration
Accounting and financial systems implementation and configuration;
Working with digital finance/tax transformation project experience;
Working with data automation platforms – Knime, Talend, Trifacta;
Working with RPA platforms – Automation Anywhere, UiPath;
Working in one or more common programming languages: SAS, SQL, Python, R ;
Demonstrating experience with predictive or descriptive analytics and working with machine learning;
Using and/or having exposure to big data approaches: PySpark, Apache Spark, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure ML, Java; and,
Working with data engineering/data science and other analytics team to establish data sources that serve business needs around analytics & scenario modeling.
