You’ll focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the Firm to drive strategic business growth.

Our System Architecture team helps build customisable specific system solutions that enhance PwC’s system capabilities to appropriately serve all client needs. As part of the team, you’ll use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map PwC capabilities to business needs outlined by clients.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in planning, implementing and deploying IT Infrastructure projects, including the following areas:

  • Understanding core domains of IT Infrastructure such as Data Networks, Voice systems, Server hardware and Operating Systems, Storage and Backups, and related monitoring and management systems;

  • Understanding enterprise technologies, authentication and authorization schemes (Active Directory, LDAP, PAM, CyberArk etc.);

  • Understanding convert manual processes into automated processes using orchestration tools and high-level programming languages;

  • Understanding business plan translation into Infrastructure technical objectives that will be used for infrastructure design guidance for the Firms' IT environments;

  • Understanding design and architecture of cloud technologies including virtual switches, firewalls, proxy servers, web filters, load balancers, storage and compute virtualization in Azure (AWS and/or GCP a plus); and,

  • Creating and maintaining Hashicorp Packer templates to facilitate creation of custom images.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Supervise/manage a geographically dispersed team of at least 8 members, both onshore and offshore;

  • Possess procurement responsibilities, including providing vendor management and license management;

  • Provide leadership/management over technical operations

  • Understand and apply Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps principles; and,

  • Understand and apply project management principles

  • Work collaboratively to provide design guidance services to sourcing vendor for specific projects that follows the enterprise architecture vision and adheres to applicable application technology roadmaps and standards;

  • Understand and mitigate the impact of technical design to security, performance and data privacy;

  • Communicate effectively at different levels within and outside the organization, leadership/management, business stakeholders, software vendors and sourcing suppliers;

  • Provide thought leadership on use of specific application technology for innovation and/or cost reduction;

  • Be a team player and lead multi-disciplinary teams in resolving complex technical issues; and;

  • Maintain network technologies roadmap and official technical architecture documents.
