A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. Our Compliance team is responsible for oversight of all Compliance activities by our PwC professionals. As part of the team, you’ll help promote and monitor compliance with applicable external and internal policies, laws and regulations and subsequently, manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.

Possessing extensive knowledge of auditor independence concepts and regulations. Possessing extensive knowledge of compliance and data processes and procedures in a professional services organization. Possessing an understanding of PwC independence policies and the independence regulations of the AICPA, SEC, PCAOB and other regulators and the impact of these policies and rules on personal financial interests and assurance engagement team responsibilities including many internal and external systems such as CES and Checkpoint. Additionally, demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following:
Understanding complex policies;
Using analytical and technical skills to apply policies to myriad scenarios and utilize judgment appropriately;
Serving as an escalation point/technical advisor for staff;
Thinking and acting strategically, challenge the status quo, recommend and implement alternative solutions;
Managing coaching and development efforts of the team;
Documenting and delivering both formal and informal feedback;
Helping foster an atmosphere of trust, professionalism and integrity;
Prioritizing work in a dynamic environment where priorities and deadlines often shift due to firm or regulatory requirements;
