As a part of the team, you’ll be the primary contact for ensuring the quality of our services is maintained while also considering better ways to provide the same service in a more cost efficient manner and keeping customer satisfaction with our services high.

The primary focus of this team is to manage regional Technology & Security Operations Infrastructure Services to achieve SLA targets and performance expectations. The Service Manager works with IT suppliers to establish delivery of secure, high availability infrastructure services. Service Managers handle all aspects of infrastructure management including reviewing support delivery from IT suppliers, handling escalations, coordinating maintenance, budgeting, roadmap execution.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in IT methodologies, service offerings and the Firm’s business at a national level in the following areas:

  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to understand the general architecture, design, and operating characteristics; and,

  • Working in industry standard, large scale enterprise systems in technical area which will include one or more of the following: Platform, Storage, Database, Web & App, Messaging and Collaboration, Configuration Management and/or Security Operations.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in managing vendor support contracts, licensing agreements and budgeting, managing small efforts, operational projects and facilitation of miscellaneous IT-driven requests and working with automation of IT infrastructure and lean processes.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Platform: Responsible for server operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux) and server deployment/decom processes;

  • Storage: Responsible for enterprise storage and backup for servers, NAS shares, databases, and data replication;

  • Database: Responsible for operations relating to database support for MS SQL, Oracle, and other database types;

  • Web & App: Responsible for shared web platforms, legacy identity management services, enterprise;

  • Messaging and Collaboration: Responsible for email, fax services, chat services and enterprise collaboration suite;

  • Security Operations: Responsible for security patching and remediation activities around security concerns; and,

  • Configuration Management: Responsible for the maintenance and performance of the configuration management database (CMDB) and shared responsibility with other leads for the maintenance of automated and manual processes that update the content in the database.
