Job Description

The Office of the Chief Client Officer is charged with representing the voice of the client, and brings the full breadth and power of PwC to add value, drive profitable growth and expand opportunities for our clients. Our group is divided into the Industries/Sectors program and the Regions/Markets program. The Industries/Sectors focus on the specific industries in which our clients do business

  • providing the insights and experience to advise them on their business.

The Regions/Markets look at our business through a geographic lens

  • building our brand in local markets, developing relationships, and making sure we have the right people in the right locations. A significant part of our charter is our focus on the Priority accounts, ensuring our teams can deliver the full breadth of capabilities PwC has to offer.

The Office of the Chief Client Officer also provides two additional capabilities:

  1. Analytic Insights serves as the firm’s analytic insight engine, leveraging integrated industry knowledge, data-enabled capabilities, analytic tools, and PwC-specific planning expertise to help leaders develop a provocative point of view to differentiate the firm, make more-informed decisions and drive firm revenue growth.

  2. The Client Experience, whose purpose is to make intelligent changes in order to benefit both the Client and PwC, which is accomplished by collecting, analyzing and acting on client feedback, and managing our relationships throughout the Client journey, resulting in improved client loyalty.

Analytic Insights will operate with agility to deliver the full-breadth of our skillset to help differentiate PwC in the market & bring analytic rigor to solving the firm’s most complex problems. Priorities will be governed by formalized stakeholder relationships, ensuring our efforts are fully aligned with strategic priorities & synced with the business.

The Analytic Insight organization consists of three aligned & collaborative competency teams which leverage embedded technology solutions & offshore resources to effectively & efficiently deliver our value proposition: Sector Analysis, Business Planning, and Analytics.

Analytics consists of technical analysts who utilize scientific approaches to extract insights from data and develop predictive models to increase confidence in business planning and investment decisions, establish heuristics for leadership, develop practice and client-level tactical targeting tools, end-to-end solution development, and facilitate the efficient exploration and interpolation of large quantities of data through visualization.

Position/Program Requirements

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 4

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Developing scientific approaches to extract insights from data, and developing predictive models to increase confidence in business planning and investment decisions for both client service and Internal Firm Services (IFS) partners and staff, as well as to external clients including: heuristics for leadership, practice and client-level tactical targeting tools, end-to-end solution development, and the efficient exploration and interpolation of large quantities of data through visualization;

  • Working as a recognized subject matter specialist within an analytics team while leading projects and managing the development of data based deliverables;

  • Developing market making, differentiated points of view through predictive analytics;

  • Creating and contextualizing analytic modeling and monitoring of key business drivers;

  • Generating forward-looking, practice, and client-level targeting tools to drive strategic business decisions and specific growth opportunities targeted to Firm leadership needs;

  • Managing activities around client support and risk mitigation on a product, deliverables on a project basis, and the quality of delivered products by adhering to the unit's quality review protocol;

  • Interacting with clients and practice groups to develop new products and solutions; and,

  • Taking an active part in building a personal knowledge base through proactive data analysis activities and efforts to build product deliverables either individually or with client service teams.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Delivering relevant and value added insights from data to support a global network of firms, client service, and Internal Firm Services (IFS) partners and staff and its external clients;

  • Leveraging multiple software packages to efficiently execute appropriate analytic techniques and execute in both standard point-and-click and customized code-based settings;

  • Using both traditional statistical techniques as well as machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches, with an intimate ability to understand when and how to apply all approaches to deliver optimal solutions;

  • Extensive navigating of statistical software after cleaning data from multiple sources;

  • Leveraging comprehensive analytic methodologies and tools, especially as it applies within a professional services environment;

  • Establishing personal networks relevant to the industry;

  • Exhibiting team commitment and the willingness to support the team in the attainment organizational goals; and,

  • Guiding and developing others in the group, across the Analytic Insights organization, and within the Firm who are new to the industry or subject matter.
