A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Finance Treasury team manages PwC’s capital structure and cash management operations. As part of our team, you’ll assist us with financial and enterprise risk management functions, transaction support, investment management, financial planning and reporting operations that includes cash forecasting, and budgeting and account reconciliation.

The Debt and Capital Senior Manager possesses an in-depth understanding of accounting and finance. The Senior Manager will provide critical support to the Firm's Treasury function by interacting with Treasury leaders to proactively address issues and analyze reports. This person will utilize his/her specialized skills, analytical abilities, and problem solving capabilities to deliver analyses, financial models and financing renewal documentation.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Researching, synthesizing information and creating offering memoranda and due diligence materials for all new financings;

  • Liaising with agent banks to determine the appropriate information in data requirements of the offering memoranda and liaising with internal PwC departments such as R&Q, OGC, Independence, segment Finance and the office of the CFO to obtain requisite financial and corporate information;

  • Supporting the Assistant Treasurer by providing research and analyses for debt, capital and risk management activities as well as independence and debt compliance to facilitate proper execution of financings, ongoing compliance with financial and reporting covenants as well as internal targets for liquidity and leverage, among others;

  • Addressing due diligence questions from banks / private placement investors;

  • Completing pre and post execution activities for all financing;

  • Preparing of closing documents for execution by CFO or Treasurer;

  • Liaising with appropriate departments to facilitate accurate recording of debt, payment of debt and interest;

  • Overseeing the three statement forecast model to improve cash flow and balance sheet forecasting, driving improvement in the cash conversion cycle;

  • Assessing the impact of various events, planned and unplanned, on the firm’s financial statements;

  • Providing deep technical expertise to the Treasury group utilizing financial analyses, modeling using Excel, Tableau, Power BI and other digital tools, and in depth knowledge of accounting principles;

  • Reviewing forecast variance to actual results and monitoring KPIs;

  • Reviewing presentations and summarizing financial analyses and key metrics for senior leadership;

  • Setting monthly collection goals for each segment;

  • Providing ad hoc analysis as requested;

  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders;

  • Utilizing functional expertise to proactively and independently identify and resolve issues; and,

  • Displaying proficiency in project management and technical accounting skills.
