A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:

  • Developing and executing of data architecture requirements for consolidation of data, separation of data warehouses, data integration, and/or data migration projects;

  • Designing and implementation of conceptual, logical and physical data models (level 0-2);

  • Delivering data architecture advice and solutions to achieve business outcomes within complex organisations;

  • Using a combination of leading data management, BI and/or data warehousing technologies and tools with a problem-solving attitude;

  • Analyzing structural requirements for new software and applications;

  • Building, optimizing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical database models;

  • Managing and analyzing system requirements and implementing migration methods for existing data;

  • Developing database solutions to establish company information is stored effectively and securely;

  • Improving system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements;

  • Understanding and defining security and backup procedures;

  • Coordinating with other teams to identify future needs and requirements;

  • Exhibiting in-depth understanding of database structure principles;

  • Identifying, gathering and analyzing system requirements;

  • Optimizing knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques;

  • Showcasing specialization in analytical skills, SQL, Oracle and MS Excel; and,

  • Understanding and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
