PwC Expense Compliance Associate in Tampa, Florida

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.

Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Demonstrates some proven abilities and success in understanding financial transaction flow and impacts to operations, as well as process redesign resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction, including the following areas:

  • Assisting with risk-based reviews on firm data to establish compliance with Firm and regulatory guidelines;

  • Assisting with analyzing and reconciling staff reimbursement activity, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and supporting conclusions;

  • Participating in select projects designed to support internal clients that demonstrate analytical / creative thinking and individual initiative;

  • Performing data analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods, via data visualization & manipulation tools;

  • Seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback proactively;

  • Leveraging creative problem-solving skills, as well as prioritizing and handling multiple tasks;

  • Cultivating teamwork dynamics through participation as a team member, which includes understanding personal and team roles;
