The Global Chief Data Office (GCDO) is a global function within PwC focused on developing world class data management capabilities and services to manage global data as a strategic business asset.

Work with senior members of the leadership team including the Global and Deputy Global Chief Data Officers, the Insights Analyst will play a critical role in transforming data into meaningful and actionable insight to support the execution of the global data strategy.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader including:

  • Engaging senior stakeholders and leading sessions to solicit requirements for dashboards and data visualizations;

  • Capturing and documenting insight requirements (purpose, audience, insights needed etc);

  • Developing “pixel perfect” data visualization and dashboards designs and wireframes;

  • Building prototype and proof of concept dashboards and data visualizations in readiness to hand off to the build team;

  • Working with the build team to define solutions and break down business requirements into clearly defined product backlog items;

  • Liaising with the build team to review and refine final outputs against the business requirements;

  • Building info graphics and bespoke visualizations/dashboards for executive level presentation and communication;

  • Responding to ad-hoc requests for insights and executing one-off data analyses;

  • Contributing to the definition and maintenance of the product design standards;

  • Creating data visualizations and data storytelling;

  • Using User Interface and User Experience (Ui/Ux) design concepts;

  • Leading market data visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI) – certifications desirable;

  • Using SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL) to analyze data;

  • Experiencing with Agile development methodologies (e.g Scrum) and software (e.g Azure Devops, Kanbanchi etc);

  • Preparing data and manipulating data – Extraction Transformation & Loading (e.g. SSIS, Alteryx, Powercenter);

  • Solving problems with organisation and with an analytical approach;

  • Dealing with challenges with a proactive mind-set in a customer-driven environment;

  • Dealing with senior stakeholders comfortably via written and verbal communication;

  • Developing and sustaining with effectively working relationships both virtually and physically; and,

  • Having a high level of commitment, energy and enthusiasm.
