PwC OFRO - Tech and Data Senior Associate in Tampa, Florida

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

The One Firm Risk Organization’s Technology & Data team identifies, implements and maintains agile technology solutions that focus on:

  • Automating, synchronizing and/or consolidating our OFRO risk, independence and compliance processes and tools,

  • Simplifying further the user experience of our client service and OFRO teams through easily accessible and intuitive technologies; and,

  • Driving data integrity and quality to enable timely and relevant risk and compliance management.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates thorough level of abilities and proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Understanding and possessing prior experience with Exari (a contract management system);

  • Applying independent knowledge of the business environment and judgement to determine readability of data, laying down a style sheet for letters and templates and working with the stakeholders to confirm accuracy of the output;

  • Applying project management skills and discretion to manage all aspects of a project from inception to completion by determining the extent, timeline and sequencing of the project and resources needed to drive to completion as well as managing people and work streams of the project;

  • Applying leadership skills to supervise and manage a team offshore by assigning project work and establishing project timeline and deadlines are met by training the team and reviewing their work;

  • Demonstrating the ability to liaison with the business to understand business needs and specifications and be able to translate their needs in a digital format so that business needs are met;

  • Working independently and efficiently with a user experience-minded focus to solve business problems with a focus on a continuous improvement mindset, while simultaneously taking direction from functional leaders to help execute client-facing, firmwide risk strategies;

  • Communicating both written and verbally with team members, especially as it relates to factual information in a clear and concise manner and, taking direction from, and providing frequent feedback to, team members and leaders;

  • Developing self and others through coaching, contributing to team success, continuously learning and sharing knowledge through training and upskilling others;

  • Building and sustaining relationships at all levels by working directly with stakeholders in different lines of service;

  • Utilizing project management skills demonstrated through prioritizing and taking ownership for completion of tasks in an environment with competing priorities and multiple projects;

  • Applying discretion when working with the business to understand their needs, apply logic and rationalization of content for firm templates in the Exari system;

  • Coordinating and being a liason with business stakeholders to build firm contracts, letters, etc. and applying independent knowledge of the technical and business framework that is not otherwise intuitive; and,

  • Developing and maintaining hierarchical structure within firm templates with a focus on minimizing complexity.
