The Network People Team team provides support for all human capital matters for staff reporting to partners, and their staff, in Network leadership roles and global functional groups across territories.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in human resources policies and practices, preferably within a professional services environment, including, but not limited to, the following areas related to the internal operations of a global network of professional services firms:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to partners/leaders with a focus on accelerating the development of our people;

  • Possessing the ability to build relationships with HC representatives in many territories in order to team together to achieve goals and provide HC support to staff based in these territories;

  • Possessing the ability to help design, build, implement, and monitor forward thinking HC initiatives and processes on a global basis;

  • Possessing experience leading the HC support for a portfolio of clients, including providing assistance with all aspects of the Leadership Development Experience, recruiting, onboarding, coaching, facilitating talent review and career round-table discussions, coordination of compensation planning for multiple territories, and assistance with GPS results for the assigned teams;

  • Leading partners/leaders in identification and management of high-potential talent and succession planning, retention efforts, and diversity initiatives;

  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with staff with goal of understanding and facilitating career objectives and employee engagement/satisfaction such as career interests, mobility, etc;

  • Applying coaching skills to increase effectiveness of leaders and coaches in leading their teams;

  • Completing offboarding activities such as consulting with senior HR professionals/Office of General Counsel (OGC)/Territory HC, departures, and collaborating with Ethics & Compliance on employee relations matters, departures and investigations, as directed by supervisor;

  • Having proven ability to manage work with a degree of independence;

  • Preparing or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;

  • Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,

  • Coaching and providing direction to less experienced staff, including providing timely written and verbal feedback.
