Cumulative GPA of 3.0; Preferred coursework: A "B" or better in at least three Accounting or Finance college level courses

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success, as both an individual contributor and team member, with identifying and addressing client needs including:
Demonstrating general understanding of accounting principles obtained through prior work experience, as applicable;
Having intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including use of macros, pivot tables, formulas and formatting; Technical aptitude for learning new applications and databases;
Demonstrating commitment to teamwork as demonstrated in professional, classroom or networking environments;
Demonstrating self-motivation, with a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development;
Receiving real-time feedback and coaching from Engagement Teams, SDC Supervisors and SDC Managers on a daily basis and ability to apply to future work requests;
Understanding production of effective written and verbal communications, especially when interacting with internal and external clients at various levels;
Demonstrating attention to detail with the ability to participate, communicate and apply knowledge to deliver quality processes in a wide range of projects;

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in applying materiality concepts, documenting testing performed in accordance with audit documentation requirements and concluding on results, evaluating sufficiency and appropriateness of audit evidence and determining an appropriate testing approach, including:
Understanding complex tests of details and controls, including understanding policies, auditing procedures and evaluation of qualitative items;
Understanding financial statement tie-out procedures;
Documenting preparation, including gathering information and populating documents based on audit policy and standard templates;
Performing first level check of work performed by junior team members to establish compliance with engagement team instructions/SDC standard processes;
Utilizing the procedures listed within the applicable workpapers as instructions/guidance to perform and document testing performed. For certain engagements, concludes on the results of the audit work;
Utilizing firm tools to obtain support from clients after the sufficiency of the support has been evaluated by the engagement team and/or evaluates the sufficiency of the support received and follows up with the client if additional support is needed;
Demonstrating ability to be be included in workflow as "preparer" for workpapers in firm’s document management system in order to conclude on work performed and address follow-up coaching notes;
Providing coaching to junior team members;
Directing client interaction via email or phone;
Completing other engagement activities (i.e. engagement setup, engagement monitoring , etc.) as required; and,
Receiving real-time feedback and coaching from Engagement Teams, SDC Senior Associates and SDC Managers on a daily basis.
